Welcome to my Paradise!
Ever since I was a little girl, I have been addicted to television. In my little fantasy world, I was the star of every drama, comedy and action show on the small screen. I was in love with every leading man and was convinced I could karate-chop my way out of trouble the way Jackie Chan could.
As I got a little older, I discovered the beauty and wonders of the written word. It’s not that I couldn’t read or that my parents didn’t encourage me to, it’s just that, well, frankly, I think I was too lazy to.
I may have been a late bloomer when it comes to reading but I have not looked back since I was ten. The library is my happy place and buying books remains one of favourite kind of retail therapy, even if I can never keep up with the pace of my book purchase. And when it comes to paper versus digital, I will take the touch and smell of a well-thumbed book over an e-book every time.
But television remains an addiction. For a few years, I had the honour of being invited to contribute to two entertainment websites in the US (LenaLamoray.com and SmallScreenScoop.com) with my TV reviews, and in the process, had the opportunity to interview a few of my favourite TV writers and actors.
On this website, I aim to share some of my favourite addictions, whether they be books I am reading, television shows I am watching, films I love, or maybe even colouring in or just listening to music or a podcast. There are lots of lazy and fun things you can do in your armchair paradise.
